We’re extremely proud to announce that Off-Piste Gin has secured not one but two drinks design awards for label design and packaging.
The gin scooped a Gold Medal in the Harpers Wine & Spirits Design Awards and a Bronze Medal for a new Brand Launch in the International Spirits Challenge Design Awards at the end of 2020, going on to feature in The Gin Foundry’s top new launches of 2020 with a starring role on Sunday Brunch in November.
Off-Piste Gin is a partnership with Cotswold distillery Sibling, who craft their own award-winning gin range from the distillery’s farm just outside Cheltenham. Inspired by the Alps, Off-Piste Gin combines classic gin botanicals including juniper, cardamom and lemon zest alongside alpine botanicals including alpine cornflowers, mountain ash berries and Saaz hops to create a deliciously bracing taste of the alpine slopes.
Launched online in 2020 as the country went in to lockdown, the beautifully nostalgic illustration, screen printed botanicals and cool blue frosted bottle had an immediate and universally emotive appeal, resonating with mountain lovers, fresh air adventurers and fireside dreamers. The brand strapline ‘If you can’t get to the mountain, why not bring the mountains to you’ proved more pertinent than anyone could have imagined. As we all resorted to fireside dreaming in recent months, what better way to do so than with an Alpine scene and a G&T?
