REINVENTING TRADITION: PICCINI COLLEZIONE PRIVATA

Piccini: Tuscan Legacy
Founded in 1882 by Angiolo Piccini, the Piccini family winery has been at the heart of Tuscan
winemaking for over a century. What began as a small-scale venture quickly gained recognition,
and through the decades, each generation has built upon that legacy with vision and resilience.
From navigating the challenges of economic hardship to pioneering international expansion, the
Piccini name has become synonymous with quality and innovation in Italian wine. Today, under
the leadership of Mario Piccini, the winery continues to honour its Tuscan roots while embracing
a global outlook.

Collezione Privata: A Taste of Renaissance Opulence
Collezione Privata Toscana IGT is inspired by the richness and refinement of the Tuscan
Renaissance. With a nod to the lavish banquets of the Medici court in Florence, particularly the
historic stracotto dish of Caterina de’ Medici, this range blends culinary heritage with
winemaking finesse. These are wines crafted to elevate the dining experience, pairing beautifully
with bold, flavoursome dishes and festive fare. The style is generous, elegant, and unmistakably
Tuscan.

Collezione Privata Bianco Toscana IGT: Elegance Signed by Mario Piccini
At the heart of the collection lies Collezione Privata Bianco Toscana IGT, a white wine personally
curated by Mario Piccini, whose signature on the label serves as a hallmark of authenticity and
care.

This refined blend of Vermentino, Chardonnay, and Trebbiano is hand-harvested and gently
pressed, with fermentation in stainless steel to preserve its freshness. A portion of the
Chardonnay is aged briefly in tonneaux, lending a subtle layer of complexity.
Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, and delicate florals lead into a lively palate marked by zesty
lemon, ripe peach, and a whisper of herbs. The finish is crisp, mineral, and lingering, capturing the finesse and charm that define both the wine and the family behind it.
