A L 'Envers - Sauvignon Blanc
Australian-born David Hohnen pioneered Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc in 1982 when he founded the blockbuster brand, Cloudy Bay. So when he teamed up with British Master of Wine Clem Yates in Bordeaux, the results were always likely to be exciting. Working closely with the winery, Sauveterre, they've created a modern Sauvignon that has all the class you would expect from Bordeaux, and all the vivacity you get from New Zealand.
The wine has a pale straw colour, gently perfumed and aromatic on the nose, grapefruit flavour on the palate, with a lively citrus acidity.
Refreshing and ideal to enjoy on its own, with seafood or white meats.
